Student Engagement

A student’s education forms the foundation for their future and prepares them for life beyond the classroom. Successful workforce integration requires quality career exploration experiences, proper guidance, and a comprehensive career plan.

Career Cruising Network (CC-Network) is the module that connects a student’s career interests to local employers and professionals representing those careers.

Students can develop their individual career plan based on CC-Network's education and career development information using resources listed below.

Company Profiles

Students can explore information on companies throughout our region.  Each Company Profile provides a company’s description, location, website, career opportunities, and more.

Work-Based Learning Activities

Students can search for activities such as job shadowing, mock interviews, company tours, and internships offered by regional employers.

Education and Training

Students learn what it takes to be prepared for their careers of interest. School data and profiles can be saved to compare information side-by-side.  There’s also college prep, scholarship, and financial aid information.

Students assess their skills, abilities and preferences to see how they match up with their career(s) of interest.  They can also search careers based on their assessment results.

Developing a job search plan, writing a resume and cover letter, and preparing for a job interview – the employment guide leads students through every important step!
